General Surgery
General surgeons with Northwest Physicians have experience and expertise in diagnosis, treatment and management of diseases, and offer a range of surgical services. They work closely with patients and their families – as well as patients’ primary care physicians – throughout the process to help patients achieve the best possible outcomes.
The surgeons use minimally-invasive surgical techniques when possible. By using miniature cameras with microscopes, tiny fiber-optic flashlights and high-definition monitors, surgeons can perform surgery through small incisions that take only a few stitches to close. Smaller incisions may result in less blood loss, less pain and a quicker recovery.
